Preparations

This blog has been created to report on events as Deb and I make our way to Alaska in Tracy and Jeff's MotorHome. Of course, this is much more than our normal trips to Atlantic City, or Las Vegas, or even Mexico. There's lots to be done before embarking on a journey of some 4000 plus miles - all starting with Jeff's purchase of the unit (oh, I didn't mention that we'll be departing from Houston, TX). So far there's been arrangements to be made with the RV that have been managed by Tracy and Jeff with help from a friend in Texas. There's been Deb's work on getting us to Houston (and Tracy's in getting us back home). There are all sorts of provisions for the RV with some being arranged from Alaska and others from PA (including 3 boxes full of 'essentials' that Deb shipped to Texas this week (mid-April); yet, I have a sense that we are still only scratching the surface.
