Virginia's Natural Bridge

Since embarking on our RV adventure over 3 years ago, we have traveled on Interstate 81 through most of Virginia at least 4 or 5 times.  Each time, seeing a number of signs, signposts and advertisements for the Natural Bridge, we've commented that we must plan to stop there sometime, but usually we've been on a schedule to be somewhere and did not have the time to stop.  This trip, before leaving PA in the middle of October, we decided that this natural wonder would be our initial destination on our Southbound trip.  We found a campground, made a reservation for two nights and had a whole day to visit the bridge and a nereby cavern.  When we departed PA, the weather forecast did not look too favorable, but we were fortunate to have a beautiful day and a visit that was more interesting and picturesque than we had imagined.  Click here and enjoy sharing the views.
