The Latest Addition

How does our Suzuki X-90 travel with us as we move from place to place in our discovery journeys? On a Tow Dolly. After spending quite a bit of time searching out, studying and evaluating the options, we had decided that we would opt to use some sort of tow bar and a breaking system installed on the car and had even gone so far as to select the actual brand and were just on the verge of making a purchase.

There are all sorts of reasons for choosing one type of tow over another; however, there is no really clear or outstanding reason for choosing one list of advantages over another. We were probably mostly influenced by the numbers of what we've seen on the road and on the internet; however, when Deb discovered a good local offer for a dolly, we decided to go in that direction considering that there would be no need to make any modifications to our car and we'd be able to tow just about any car should the need arise somewhere down the road.

The unit is by Master Tow, one of the leaders in the field, and we are quite pleased with it. It is complete with electric brakes and should prove to be a good choice.

Last Saturday, in our continuing preparations, we finally took some clothing to the MotorHome as well as a variety of other items and we proceeded once again to rearrange many of the items already there for reasons of best use of space, distribution of weight and other considerations. Once again, Deb spent most of her time inside while I was working with the outside storage areas. We think we are getting closer to a final arrangement of things, but then there is next week.
